Kids 'N' Clay Wet Clay classes for kids ages 12 and up.
Classes meet weekly for 1-1/4 hours
Each "artist-in-residence" works on a project from their imagination and at their own pace. At the Kids 'N' Clay studio, we provide exclusive reference materials to serve as their "muse" if needed and a "possible projects" board to help get the creative juices flowing! As "artist-in-residence" begin to explore the possibilities, Kids 'N' Clay staff members are there to introduce techniques to help in learning pottery wheel throwing, hand building, sculpting, under glazing (painting), clear glazing and dip glazing. A high ratio of staff members to students insures personal attention as the children explore their creativity and work toward project completion.
Our Wet Clay Classes meet evenings and Saturday mornings.
