I’ve been teaching piano for over 40 years and have never stopped loving it.  My goal is to impart my love of music and piano to my students; I aim to give them a real sense of satisfaction by learning to play proficiently and beautifully. Lessons include sightreading, eartraining, technique, theory and history.  This well-rounded approach keeps the lessons and learning process itself entertaining, fun and rewarding.

One of the essential ingredients of my program is monthly workshops in which my students (adults and children separately) come together to learn more about musical styles, different composers and how to prepare for performance and cope with nervousness.  These “Master Classes” are offered at no extra charge – they are included in the regular tuition and are very popular.

My students are a diverse group; school-age children and serious adults, who range from amateurs to fellow piano teachers looking for advanced feedback.
